Parent Volunteer Program

Parents are always welcome to visit their child's classroom! If you are interested in being a long-term volunteer or chaperone, you must complete the district's Volunteer Application, pass a background check, and complete our training course. This procedure is outlined by School Board policy and state legislation and is designed to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

 ONLINE VOLUNTEER PROCESS

1. Click the Secure Volunteer Link to complete the online application to be a volunteer.

2. Pay $17.50 credit or debit card** through the secure online server. 

3. Attend the Parent Volunteer Training.
Following the training the school will be notified of your status. Training can be scheduled for Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm at the Title I Parent Center: 611 Colleton Loop, Walterboro, SC.

4. Begin Volunteering!
Within 10 business days you will receive a letter confirming your approval and a personalized ID card. The approval expires after two years from the date
